Trowel size is suggested to maximize mortar transfer/coverage. Periodically check coverage during installation. Uneven substrate may require the use of either a leveling/patching material, or larger notched trowel for proper mortar coverage. To bond Schluter-DITRA or Schluter-KERDI to the substrate: Use one 50-lb. (22.7-kg) bag of mortar per 150 – 200 ft2(13.9 – 18.6 m2). *Coverages shown are approximate and are given for estimating purposes only. Actual job-site coverages will vary according to trowel size, tile size and thickness, job conditions, and setting practices.
Exceeds ANSI A118.1 when mixed with water.
